Baby Haight is growing and so am I! It has really been in the last couple weeks that I have really started popping out. Skin is stretching and starting to feel itchy and a little weird all together. I am feeling great and can't wait until I am able to feel him/her start to move. Bran and I go to the doctor tomorrow to make sure everything is progressing as it should. Baby Haight...you'll have a room fit for a KING or QUEEN! Brandon has started working on the nursery and it is a lot of fun. We started shopping for cribs, changing table, and chair yesterday. Brandon is doing built-in dresser, relocating the closet, and putting up wainscoting with a little built-in crown shelf above. We're not sure on the color or theme, but I'm sure we'll have that figured out by the time we find out what we're having. I'll keep adding pictures to this post as we make progress on the room.
I know it has been a little while since I have posted! Sorry. A lot has been going on...best of all BRANDON IS HOME! We had some horrible weather the week before he came home which kept me from work and we even lost power. We are one of the lucky ones who has it back. A lot of people in the Evansville area are still out of power. Brandon got back on Friday and he surprised me with a WONDERFUL trip down to Nashville. We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, saw THE KILLERS play at the Grand Old Opry House, and did some baby shopping!!! It was such a relaxing and fun-filled weekend. Being able to spend the whole weekend away with Bran was just great. It is amazing how much you miss someone when they are gone for an entire month. He is such a wonderful husband and I am truly blessed.
As for baby news...I AM FEELING GREAT. It is official...I am over the morning sickness and couldn't be happier. I definitely have my appetite back and am even gaining some more energy. My belly is also growing...I will be posting pictures next week since I will be 4 months along. I am so excited to finally start feeling him or her move. Any day now I should be able to feel small movements inside my belly :) Brandon got some adorable clothes in Japan (I'll post those next week). We have been starting to look into cribs, changing table, strollers, and all kinds of other sweet baby things. There is so much to buy and prepare for.
