The PERFECT pedi...

Adison asked to paint my toes tonight and I gladly obliged.  I feel like I've been a lot more aware of our growing kiddos and much more appreciative of every second I have with them.  She had so much fun painting my toes (feet)!

FALL - is almost here!

Fall is by far my favorite season.  It gives me this feeling of love, thankfulness, and just pure joy.  I feel like I'm better at slowing down and truly appreciating how much God has blessed our family with.  We had a nice slow morning and then headed off to New Harmony to enjoy their great park, snacking on fruit and cheese, and then headed home with a big cookie for the little ones and a yummy coffee for me.  Abe is down for his nap, and Adi and I are getting ready to play baby dolls!  Life is so very good!!!

Abram is 2!

I can't believe my baby is 2 now!!  It has been a crazy weekend so we celebrated his birthday today!  Adi was insistent that "he" wanted to open his gifts as soon as we got up!  He got some fun stuff this year, and I just love now that he is getting older how he is having true likes and dislikes.  He's boy through and through and we just love him so very much!  I'm going to come back after his check up in a couple weeks and add stats and a bit more, but for now...

These are some of the things about Abram we really want to remember at this stage!

He has learned to love his nane (blankie).  I think Adi's love for hers rubbed off on him!

He likes to point and you and say "stop it".  Kind of naughty, but he's just so darn cute.

He like to sing along with mommy at night before bed.  He loves, Jesus Loves Me, and You are My Sunshine!

He LOVES to rough house with Brandon!

He is truly obsessed with dirt bikes and motorcycles (I'm in trouble).

He's pretty good at saying I'm sorry and has a tender little heart.

He's not as great of an eater anymore, but would drink milk all day long if I let him.

He's a rough and tumble boy who can be pretty darn sweet at times and we are beyond blessed he's part of our family!  Happy 2nd birthday buddy - we love you!

Flower Girl!

Adison has been anxiously awaiting this weekend for months and months now.  I knew she would have a good time, but I didn't know just how much.  She was invited to get her nails done on Thursday night with all the girls, we did the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on Friday, and Saturday was fill with all kinds of wedding day fun for her.  She did absolutely great going down the aisle.  The weekend really did make her feel so special and loved.  Joyce, Tracy, and Will are like family to us, and they love this little girl a whole bunch!  We were blessed to be a part of such a special day!

Adi and daddy getting ready to see the kiss!  She was so excited to see them kiss. :)
As she walked back down the aisle everyone was clapping and cheering, so she decided to take a minute to join in!

While the weekend was super fun, it really took it out of her.  She napped for a bit on the way to the reception!
Tracy was so thoughtful to have a birthday balloon, a gift bag, and a birthday cake waiting for Abe!

Sweet little moments like this get me all teary-eyed!!
It was just a lovely wedding and we couldn't be happier for the new Mr. and Mrs. Tank!!!

Adi's 1st day of 3-day Preschool

Friday was Adi's first day at her new school, Friends Forever (catchy little name ha?)!  I had originally thought to myself.... we won't be in and out of the country, and preschool should be much easier on her this year.  Then we decided we would move out of Haubstadt just before school began.  The program seems to be wonderful, and I know many people who have sent there kids here and had nothing but great things to say about their experience.  I was very pleasantly surprised when I picked her up at 11:30 and she was all smiles and very excited to tell me about her day.  It will be an adjustment for Abram as well.  We ran around getting stuff done while she was at school and he pointed to her car seat multiple times and "Adi" in the saddest little voice.  I know they really do adore each other under all the fighting.  It will be the blink of an eye and he'll be starting preschool too!  I have a feeling this is going to be a great year for our adorable little four year old!
