Grandpa Randy Visits

It was just great having dad up here.  The weather is starting to get cooler and I can feel fall coming.  We had a cold weekend when he was here so we decided to go pick apples and have a fun morning down at Smothers Park in KY.  The kids love having Grandpa Randy here to play with and so do I!

Emalyn turns 7 months

Height - who knows
Weight - who knows
Head Circumference - who knows

Ok, you're a week away from 7 months so I better get this post done.  I'll try my best to make it accurate!  You have done a lot this past month or so.  You're sitting up like a big girl, but hadn't really wanted to roll over at all.  You despise being on your belly!  You laugh a lot, especially when Adi and Abe talk to you and act like precious little goof balls!  You really seem like you changed a lot between 5 and 6 months.

Sleep:  You're going to sleep about 7:00pm and sleep until 6:30ish. I'm nursing you 2 or 3 times throughout the night.

You are adorable and we love you to pieces!!!

Uncle Mikey & Aunt Caitlin Visit

We were able to spend Labor Day weekend with Michael and Caitlin! It was a ton of fun having them here with us.  The kids love seeing them and having them around.  Bran was in Japan while they were here, so he missed out on all the fun!

Adi starts Kindergarten! :(

Adi started Kindergarten on August 10th, and to be honest, this mommy wasn't ready for it!  We're almost finished with the second week and I am just not writing this post. I have had a hard time with this translation! She is doing well and seems to be liking school for the most part.  She is being helpful and kind to the other kiddos in her class.  She is growing up to be such a TERRIFIC young lady.  My, my, my Adi-Mae we love you so much!

Abram is 4!!!

We celebrated Abram's birthday the weekend before his birthday because Bran is off to Japan this week.  We started the morning at Frog Follies, out to lunch, and back to the house to play corn hole, ride Abe's dirt bike, and a family dinner of bacon and eggs (the rest of us had yummy BLT's).  Abram is such a brave and tender-hearted little guy and we just love him to pieces!!!
