We had a fun afternoon of trick-or-treating at some good friends homes and our neighborhood! Adi has a nasty little cold so, she wasn't her normal perky self, but did seem to enjoy herself. I'm hoping for a full night of sleep tonight for little miss, so mommy doesn't have to sleep in the crib (you'll do anything for some sleep:). I didn't get very many great shots, but here they are.

We had a great time trick-or-treating in our neighborhood with Lindsey and her family!! Olivia did such a great job and looked ADORABLE( Ben looked so sweet as well). Adi preferred picking up rocks at each home to add to her buck.

Bath time... hmmm NO!
Trying to get your very cranky toddler to take a bath sometimes meaning breaking your own rules! My sweet girl has been a cranky little mess most of the day, so why should getting her to take her bath be any different. After letting her wear mommies headband, giving her one of grandma's "no-no's", and convincing her that "nae-nae" was also going to take a bath we got her back in the tub. What a day - definitely time for bed!

Pumpkin Patch
This morning we went to pick out pumpkins to carve with daddy when he gets home. Adi went on her first hay ride and loved it. I cracked me up how some girls from a girl scout troop were afraid to ride the hay ride and there was my little spit fire hooting and hollering as we bounced along the fields.

Day at the zoo
It is a beautiful fall day here, so after breakfast I decided we would go down to check out our zoo. It is a great size and has quite a few animals for little old Evansville. Adi really enjoyed seeing all the animals.

FINALLY - a fall day
The weather has been so hot here. Today is really the first day it has felt and looked like fall. We went and gathered leaves for our compost. Marilyn helped me start it today. We have mixed all the brown and green organic material and now we will just wait for the warmth of the sun to do it's job. I am in desperate need of good compost for my garden. I am hoping this will really jump start my growth for next year! Here are some cute little fall pictures of Adi.

St. Louis with GRANDMAS
Adi, the grandmas, and I spent the weekend in St. Louis. The weather was quite hot for October, but we had a great time together. Brandon is still gone and we are staying plenty busy while we wait for him to come home. We miss you babe and hope you enjoy the pictures.

Day 3
This was our first rainy day in Vancouver, so we watched a movie for the first time in over a year and took the train to a big mall to shop around.
Before dinner we hit a great gelato place for a yummy snack before dinner!
Tonight was our big night, dinner at Lumiere. I have to be honest it wasn't everything I expected it to be, but I am happy we went and the food was VERY French and quite tasty.
Amuse bouche
Dungeness crab salad with avocado, black olive, pepper sorbet
Cornmeal crusted qualicum bay scallops with matsutake mushrooms, white beans, and icicle radish
Duo of AAA Prime Beef with red wine braised short rib, potato fondant, seared rib eye, romaine parcel
Seasonal fish
Cherry pavlova with vanilla ice cream, poached okanagan cherries and basil
Hot and cold tiramisu sundae with Chocolate Cremeux, Mascarpone Mousse, Ladyfingers, Coffee Ice Cream
Beignets with coffee
