Family Collectables...

We have been on the hunt for a dinette set for months now.  My mom gave me her mothers China once we moved into the new house, and I have been anxiously awaiting for a place to house this beautiful stuff.  I have such wonderful memories of holiday dinners and getting to use the "fancy" dishes.  I remember telling my mom how beautiful the china was and that I hoped I would get it one day.  I loved how she talked about her mom as we got the dishes out for our special dinner.  Things that are deep-rooted in history and sentimental pulls at my heart strings.  Adi had a wonderful time helping me take each and every piece out today (the only things that would have made it better would have been if Gigi would have been here to help us set it all up).  We talked about how we would have special meals on these dishes in the years to come and how she would get them one day to share with her family.  I look forward to the memories that will be made around the table as these sweet babes get older!

I really wanted a place where I have the names of the pieces and who they were from:

The china is Franciscan Ware "Carmel."  All the pieces were my Grandma Alice Ahern's.
Meadow Rose Fostoria are the crystal goblets, sherbert cups, and cups and saucers.
Tea Rose Set - Lunch Set:  My Step-Grandma Dory's mom Alice Sylliaasen
The leaf etched goblets are unknown right now, but I'm working on trying to find out what they're called!
