Early Riser ...

and no, I'm not talking about Abe! Adi has been waking up bright and early these days - 5:00 am. This is WAY too early for me. It's kind of crazy because she isn't even hearing Abe cry or anything. She comes out and says the choo-chee train is loud. I decided I am going to try and ignore her talk about he choo-chee train all together and hope she gets back on her 7:30 routine very soon. Abe, on the other hand, is a GREAT little sleeper! Thank you Lord for a good sleeper here at the beginning anyway!!!

I thought I should post a couple pictures of your two little adorable kiddos. I'm sure you're missing them terribly! We're happy you to made it to Nagoya safely and there was no evacuation necessary! I'll try to keep the pictures coming. We miss you a love you!

9 days old

This picture says it all! This little guy is such a happy baby. We are enjoying this sweet little guy so much! He had his first doctors appointment on Friday and is doing great. He had already gained 8 oz. I am feeding him every two hours during the day which is well worth it since he is going four hour stretches for me at night! So far he is a great eater, sleeper, and just so darn lovable!

Apple Pickin

We decided to go do a little apple picking today! It was the perfect fall morning. Abe and I hung back in the car while Gigi and Adi picked some delicious looking apples quickly! Everyone is doing great here and Abe has been just such a joy to have in our family. I'm looking forward to more Fall festivities! I LOVE FALL!

Mommy's New Gift(s),

Brandon got me a wonderful gift which will be amazing for our new family of four! I got a Nikon D5100. We have played around with it a little bit last night and this morning.
We also came home to our landscaping in the back yard being done. We have to put in all our shrubs, but the hard part is finished.
Abe had a pretty good first night here at the house, even in his pink little bed (thanks Kim).

We have a BEAUTIFUL baby boy in our arms right now. He is just so sweet and loveable. It is just remarkable how miraculous it is bringing a new life into this world! We will post more pictures later. Adi will be meeting him shortly, and I can not wait for this precious moment.

Labor Day 2011

It has been a very relaxing Labor Day weekend. It has really just been wonderful to spend time as a family of three before our little boy arrives this week and life gets a little crazy. Adi is such a fun and spunky girl, and I will say she is quite the daddy's girl these days. The weather couldn't be any nicer today and I am feeling so happy about this amazing life God has blessed us with. Here are some pictures from the weekend - hope you enjoyed yours!
