Adi went on two field trips this first school year. We missed this first one this fall when we were living in Japan. We went to Sandy's Pizza in March. They took a little tour, got to make their own pizza's, and enjoyed the fruits of their labor. Adison was less then enthused about spreading out the sauce with her hand. She had a good time and it was fun to see how some of our favorite local pizza was made.
Last week the kids took their Spring field trip to Wesselman Nature Preserve. They taught them about 5 senses and how animals and humans both use them.
They released their butterflies they grew in class at the park!
Adi was so excited to sit with Ms. Lucy on the way home. She is a wonderful teacher who has been teaching for almost 30 years!
