Relief from the HEAT

My most recent obsession/craving has been these Pure Fruit Popcicles. I am of course still on my WATERMELON kick, but with as hot as it has been here lately these do the trick and they are very tasty. I am officially off work now and have a lot to do in the next couple weeks. I am trying to priorities what to do first. At my doctors appointment on Monday she said that things are already progressing and has suggested that we strip my membranes (natural way to enduce) on 7/17...that is if I don't go on my own before then. I have been having a decent amount of contractions and I can tell that we are getting very close! Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Good Guys

Future kid hauler for Adi and her siblings (62 Impala)!!! The top won't be chopped on ours - not conducive for loading children :)

Shannon and I terribly hot - looking trashy - waiting for the track to dry.

I had to make little pit stops throughout the day!

Next to one of Troy Trapania's beautiful cars!

You know Bran is already drafting the plans for Adi's pink little race car / wagon!

We spent the weekend up in Indy with our good friends Matt and Shannon. Brandon made appointments for Shannon and I at the spa on Saturday and then we all went to the car show / drag race on Sunday. It was a great weekend to just get away and enjoy each others company. I do have to say that this will probably be the last weekend we leave home until Adi arrives. I am just exhausted now and we really don't want to be too far from home at this point. Here the slide show of all the cool cars!!!

32 Weeks Along

I am a little behind with my pictures! I am 33 weeks this week and I can't believe how the time is just flying. Our sweet little thing is going to be here before you know it. I feel like I am as big as a house right now...and potentially 7 more weeks to go - YIKES!!!! I am really looking forward to our 36 week appointment. At this appointment we will get to see her again, she'll be weighed, and more measurements to make sure she is growing well. I'm dying to know what she looks like. Her movements are major and I can really tell where some of her body parts are now. She got hiccups for the first time Sunday night and Bran and I thought it was so very cool. I am feeling pretty good overall, but I definitely have my days here lately.

IN Baby Shower

My mom, Marilyn, and Barbara all were in town this weekend for my baby shower! It was so nice to have family here with me to share in my special day. My shower was mainly work people and some other close friends I have here in Indiana. My best friend Shannon and sister, Kelly did tons of specials things to make this shower such a hit. I am so blessed to have you as a friend and sister - THANK YOU.

It was a fun-filled weekend, but I will admit it was exhausting for me. Bran was such a trooper too...he spent more then two days this (long) weekend shopping with us. We shopped, ate, and just hung out. I am so happy I was able to spend such wonderful quality time with the people I love before our life gets crazy busy.

Thanks to everyone that helped, came, and showered us with lovely gifts. Adison is quite the lucky girl!!!

29 Weeks Along

Hi everyone! I meant to post these last week, but life just gets crazy. I am officially 29 weeks along. I feel pretty good, but her movements are quite shocking at times. She is about 3 pounds now and seems to be doing great. She moves around a lot which is very reassuring that everything is going well. I have been seeing my doctor every two weeks and I guess I am measuring right where I need to be. I have been seriously craving peanut butter and watermelon, but that is about it. Bran and I get more and more excited by the day and can't wait for her arrival. I only have about 5 weeks of work left then I will be off. I have a lot I still want to get ready before she arrives. I am confident that I have plenty of time to get all these things done.

Baby Moon

We had an official mini "baby moon" this past weekend...and it was GREAT! Bran took me down to Nashville and we stayed at our favorite, Opryland Resort. We did some really fun things over the weekend. We went shopping, enjoyed all the beautiful gardens at the hotel, went to the botanical gardens, went swimming (which was a welcome relief on my back), and most importantly ate at some WONDERFUL restaurants! To be perfectly honest it just amazing spending the entire weekend with my loving husband.
I was so happy we were able to spend quality time together talking about how important it is to us to raise Adison in a Godly home. We found some good books on parenting and raising a child to be a Godly woman. There couldn't be anything more important to us, and I feel like God is truly preparing us for this next chapter in our lives. While there is a little sense of anxiousness for her to arrive; I really feel very ready for this next step. I know God will guide us through this start to our new life in so many different ways.
Hope you are all doing well and feeling excited about the coming warm summer months...I know we are!

A Nice Weekend At Home

IT HAS BEEN SUCH A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!

I just love weekends when we don't have any plans...and we are free to do whatever we want.
It was suppose to rain all weekend, but there hasn't been a cloud in the sky all day. I have thoroughly cleaned out 3 closets, went grocery shopping, cooked, baked, and enjoyed the beautiful weather outside. I have also been enjoying Diana Krall's new CD - check it out! Bran has been working on his tubing bender and land cruiser. Cooper has been close by me all day and has also enjoyed the great weather.
I think Bran and I are getting away next weekend! We are trying to take advantage of "all our free time" while we still can. Adison has been moving around like a crazy woman and is surely getting bigger! Her movements both amaze me and freak me out all at the same time. I can't even put into words how it feels having a 2 pound baby moving in my belly. It makes me so happy to feel her move, but it is also quite strong movements!
We hope you all are having an AMAZING weekend as well.
Be sure to enjoy all the new life that SPRING has to offer.
